¡HOLA!
I'M VALENTINA.
I was seven when I got my first Prismacolor pencil set and Crayola markers, and ten when I was given my first camera. I kept those drawings, lettering pieces, and photos tucked away in a box of memories. During the pandemic, revisiting that box reminded me of how much I’ve always loved illustration, lettering, and photography. That’s why I left film school and decided to study Graphic Design at Florida International University in Miami.
I’m a big fan of modern design aesthetics: bold typography, clean and striking layouts, and vibrant colors (which are definitely my favorite). Still, I always adapt my approach to fit the unique needs of each project, whether it involves web design, illustration, or photography. My goal is to create visuals that truly resonate.
I’m currently exploring branding as part of my practice while continuing to develop photography and illustration projects. Much of my inspiration comes from the fantasy and science fiction stories I grew up with, which influence how I experiment with perspective, both visually and conceptually, in my work.
When I’m not working on design projects, you’ll usually find me lost in a fantasy novel, painting on a big, round canvas, or watching films I loved as a kid.
